Lisa Angert Morris, MS, LPC, CGP is the Director of Training and Supervision for MCS. She has continuously been part of nonprofit mental health agencies in Atlanta since beginning her clinical internship at The Link Counseling Center in 1986. As program director for a group therapy program for survivors of trauma at the Georgia Council on Child Abuse (now Prevent Child Abuse Georgia), and as a staff psychotherapist at The Hub Counseling and Education Center, Lisa gained experience in program development, management, fiscal oversight and many other aspects of nonprofit administration. Lisa enjoys combining these interests with her clinical background in her work at MCS. She has been involved with MCS since 1996 and has helped dozens of psychotherapists attain licensure through training, consultation and supervision. Lisa helped the center obtain 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status and writes grants promoting MCS’ mission of providing affordable psychotherapy to adults. Lisa served on the Board of Directors of MCS from 2003-2005. She received her undergraduate degree from Emory University and her graduate degree from Georgia State University. In addition to working with MCS, Lisa is in private practice as a partner at Metropolitan Psychotherapy Associates.
